MuPlayer

Last updated 4 November 2026

Terms of Use

These terms apply to the MuPlayer applications for Android TV, Fire TV, LG webOS and Samsung Tizen, and to the website muplayer.app (together, "MuPlayer"). By installing or using MuPlayer you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use MuPlayer.

1. What MuPlayer is

MuPlayer is a media player. It plays audio and video streams described in a playlist that you supply, and it shows programme information, thumbnails and catch-up links that the playlist points to. MuPlayer does not provide, host, sell, license or recommend any channels, streams or other content. It has no built-in channel list.

2. Your playlist and your provider

You are responsible for the playlist you load into MuPlayer and for having the right to watch what it contains. Any subscription or playlist address comes from your own provider, not from us. We have no agreement with your provider, we do not control what they stream, and we cannot help with their billing, outages or content. Questions about channels go to the provider.

If you enter a short sign-in code instead of a full address, a MuPlayer service turns it into the playlist address. We do not store the resulting playlist on our servers and we do not inspect its contents.

3. Acceptable use

Use MuPlayer only with content you are entitled to access under the laws that apply to you. Do not use MuPlayer to infringe copyright or other rights, to circumvent access controls you are not authorised to pass, or to redistribute streams. Do not reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the app except as permitted by law or by a written agreement with us. Providers who distribute customised builds do so under their own agreement with us.

4. Updates and availability

MuPlayer may check for new versions and show a notice when one is available. Features depend on what your playlist and your TV support, and may change between versions. We may discontinue the app or the website at any time.

5. No warranty

MuPlayer is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation and compatibility with any provider or device. Streams may stop, buffer or be unavailable for reasons outside our control.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MuPlayer and its authors are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data or loss of enjoyment arising from the use or inability to use MuPlayer, or from content obtained through any playlist. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for MuPlayer in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free app is zero.

7. Third-party stores and platforms

When you install MuPlayer from Google Play, the LG Content Store or Samsung Apps, the store's own terms also apply. Those platforms are not parties to these terms.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
